Which personal data do we record?

Personal data is data that allows conclusions to be drawn about your identity. We only collect personal data if you voluntarily disclose it to us. Depending on your use of this site, this may be the following data:

If you use our contact form and send us an email, we will save your email.

If you ask us to contact you or to send you material or our newsletter, we will save the contact details you provide. If a business relationship or cooperation or other collaboration develops from this, we will store the contact contact data for the duration of this cooperation or collaboration or the subscription to the newsletter. Otherwise, we will delete the data after 6 months at the latest.

Why and on what legal basis do we record your personal data?

We use the data you enter in the contact or newsletter field exclusively to provide the service you have requested.
Your contact data is processed for the purpose of processing the request you have submitted and, if necessary, contacting you. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO; our legitimate interest lies in the appropriate response to contact enquiries. If your contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract, i.e. the enquiry is related to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, the legal basis for the processing of your contact data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO.

The legal basis for the processing of your data after you have registered for the newsletter is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO if you have given your consent. The purpose of data processing in the context of sending a newsletter is the transmission of information and communication to you.

The contact data will remain with us until you ask us to delete it or revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed or after your subscription to the newsletter has ended). Otherwise, we will delete the data after 6 months at the latest. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected. If a business relationship or cooperation or other collaboration develops from the establishment of contact, we store the contact data for the duration of this cooperation or collaboration or the subscription to the newsletter. They will be deleted after completion of the order processing or after expiry of the statutory retention periods. The end of the collaboration is defined as a written declaration by one party that the collaboration has ended or if no new orders have been placed with us over a period of 5 years or no other collaborations or joint, mutually agreed activities have taken place during this time.

Your rights

You can contact us at any time and request information, correction, deletion or restriction of the processing of the data stored about you. You also have the right to object to the processing if the data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f DSGVO, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal if the data processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. A or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a DSGVO. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise your rights against us, please contact our data protection officer Jana Grote-Vu or Johanssen + Kretschmer Strategische Kommunikation GmbH, Wilhelmstraße 118, D-10963 Berlin.

If you have given your consent to the processing of your data (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO), you can revoke this at any time. Such a revocation affects the permissibility of the processing of your personal data after you have given it to us. The permissibility of the processing of your data up to the time of revocation remains unaffected.

Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balancing of interests (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO), you can object to the processing. This is the case if, in particular, the processing is not necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you, which is described by us in the following description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data in the way we do. In the event of your objection, we will examine the situation and will either discontinue or adapt the data processing or show you our compelling reasons worthy of protection on the basis of which we will continue the processing.
Of course, you can object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of data analysis at any time.
